Available Positions

Resident Assistant (RA)

The RA is the primary point of contact for residence hall students and serves as a resource person for students living on their floor and in the hall. RAs facilitate, plan, and implement community development and educational activities within the residence halls. They also serve in an on-call duty rotation to respond to after-hours crisis situations. Applicants must be full-time Rutgers University – Camden students with a minimum 2.5 term and cumulative GPA, and must be available for training, meetings, and job-related responsibilities for the full academic year between August 9, 2026, and May 31, 2027. The RA application closes at 5pm on January 23, 2026, and requires a resume and a cover letter. We anticipate interviewing candidates between February 2-18, 2026.

Resident Service Coordinator (RSC)

Customer service and safety are our top priorities, and the RSC position is the first step in meeting this goal. The RSCs staff the front lobby welcome desks of the 330 Cooper and 215 N. 3rd Street Complex, checks IDs, answers phones/emails, and checks in/out packages and guests.  Minimum 2.5 GPA required. The RSC application closes at 5pm on February 6, 2026, and requires a resume and a cover letter.

Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC)

The Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC) position is a critical role within our office that supports our mission of providing students with inclusive, well-maintained, and secure living-learning environments. GPCs assist Residence Life Coordinators and Assistant Directors and supervise Resident Assistant (RA) teams from an assigned residence hall or Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) teams who work at our area desks. GPCs support residents facing personal challenges (e.g., roommate conflicts and academic issues) and connect them with relevant resources; help implement health and safety policies; and assist in coordinating other initiatives. This role requires 15-30 hours per week in the OHRL office and participation in the Administrator On-Call duty rotation for after-hours crisis response. The GPC application closes at 5pm on February 27, 2026, and requires a resume and cover letter.
