Accommodations
Rutgers University is committed to providing reasonable on-campus housing accommodations for students with documented disabilities, as determined solely by the Office of Disability Services. We also offer housing accommodations for students with non-medical needs and provide support for those who require service or support animals while living on campus. Pets are not allowed in residence halls or apartments, but accommodations may be made for service dogs (including those in training) and emotional support animals (ESAs) through the Office of Disability Services (ODS) and the Office of Housing and Residence Life. Written approval from both offices is required before bringing an ESA into residence halls. Students can begin the process of requesting an accommodation by completing the ODS Registration Form.
