The Rutgers Future Scholars program in Rahway is helping one single-parent family of five children attend college. The oldest will graduate with a Rutgers degree in May. Inspired by her kids, their mother plans to begin work toward a Rutgers degree this fall.
Former New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean appeared at Rutgers–Camden as part of the Chancellor’s Centennial Lecture Series. In a wide ranging discussion with Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis, he reflected on decades of public service and national leadership and invited the audience to consider how thoughtful dialogue and shared purpose can shape a more effective and unified political future.
Oscar Holmes IV, professor of management at Rutgers School of Business–Camden and director of the Rutgers University Student Executive (RUSE) program, has been inducted into the Martin Luther King Jr. Collegium of Scholars at Morehouse College. This distinguished honor recognizes national and international leaders for their professional achievements, moral leadership, and deep commitment to community.
