Patrick Rosal, distinguished professor in the Department of English and Communication and inaugural campus director of the Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice will serve as the Guggenheim’s fifth Poet-in-Residence, connecting poetry and public engagement at one of the nation’s most renowned museums of modern and contemporary art. 

Rutgers University–Camden reached a major construction milestone in its $60 million Cooper Street Gateway Project, placing the final steel beam this week on a development that will expand academic space and strengthen community ties. University officials, elected leaders, and community partners gathered along Lawrence Street for the ceremony, which signals that the structure has reached its full height and is on track for completion in 2027.

The Rutgers University Board of Governors has approved the renaming of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences–Camden to the School of Arts and Sciences–Camden, affirming the unit’s role as a comprehensive academic school and aligning its designation with parallel schools across the university.
