A young Rutgers Law alumnus is turning his lifelong passion for helping others into a successful career. Less than a year after graduating, he won a hard-fought victory for an 80-year-old client who had been fraudulently deceived into signing over his home’s deed.

Rutgers Law Associates (RLA) recently won a jury trial on behalf of an 80-year-old client who had been deceived into signing over his home’s deed. RLA fellow Sam Romeo ’23 tried the case, successfully convincing six out of seven jurors that his client was a victim of fraud.
