A renewed and intentional focus on faith, spirituality, and well-being is joining the variety of extracurricular programming on campus, offering new avenues for students, faculty, staff, and community partners to explore belonging and identity at Rutgers–Camden.
Students expressed the meaning of democracy through art by working together in building a “democracy wall.” Led by Simanti Lahiri, programming coordinator for public engagement, and in partnership with the Rutgers Democracy Lab, the wall displays students’ hopes during the run-up to Tuesday’s New Jersey gubernatorial election.
The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) and the Student Wellness Center at Rutgers University–Camden hosted a prize-giving scavenger hunt where representatives from Student Wellness, athletics, and other student support services, along with local safety, financial, and drug prevention organizations, challenged students to solve puzzles and quizzes about personal safety and wellness.
