Gift lists, travel plans, and family expectations now collide with headlines about layoffs, slowed hiring, and an economy that seems to shift week by week. For many, the season’s joy is tempered by a quiet undercurrent of anxiety.
Rutgers-Camden faculty artist Stass Shpanin, who embraces history in ways that challenge myth and ideology, recently presented a solo exhibition, Forbidden Garden, at the PLATO gallery on New York’s Lower East Side, and concurrently, has been featured in the Delaware Contemporary Art+AI Biennial exhibition, which explores the theme of artificial intelligence (AI) in the arts.
