One year after pursuing graduate studies at Cardiff University on a Fulbright scholarship, Rutgers–Camden alumna Sophia Westfall is preparing for another milestone. The 2025 graduate has earned admission to the University of Cambridge, where she will pursue a doctorate in English. Throughout her journey, Westfall, Rutgers–Camden’s first UK Fulbright recipient, has served as a cultural ambassador for the United States while expanding on the research in environmental humanities she developed as an undergraduate.

Three Rutgers Law alumnae are helping shape the future of New Jersey's legal profession through leadership roles in county and state bar associations. 

Recent alums of the graduate program in psychological science, who served as research assistants in the Resilience, Equity, and Community Health Lab, will continue their education and scholarship at three highly regarded Ph.D. programs.

Tiffanie ThrBak's passion is  inspiring young minds. She never imagined that when she pursued education as a career she would be named Cumberland County’s Teacher of the Year by New Jersey’s Department of Education.

Ronald Barr CCAS’24 credits Rutgers–Camden for the launch of his career at Lockheed Martin and the preparation of his graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University.

Alumna Josefina Ewins found her professional calling after a chance meeting while a student at Rutgers–Camden. Now, she shapes New Jersey’s higher education policy, drawing on the civic engagement and student leadership experiences she gained at her alma mater.
