Student Veterans at Rutgers-Camden (SV@RC)
The purpose and mission of the VARU is to maintain a robust network of Veteran Alumni in furtherance of esprit de corps, mentoring and peer support, and to leverage the resources of the Rutgers community in order to promote and expand VARU's reach and impact.
The student Must be enrolled on Camden Campus and either: currently serving, have served, or are reservists in any US Armed Forces branch and National Guardsmen. First semester students ARE NOT eligible, a minimum of 6 credits completed is required. Student MUST also maintain a 2.8 GPA. The student MUST be actively involved in Vet-related activities on campus (14 hours per semester) as well as complete appropriate University requirements each year to demonstrate eligibility for financial aid. Can be received ONE TIME by student per degree.

The student MUST complete appropriate University requirements each year to demonstrate eligibility for financial aid. Can be received ONE TIME by student per degree.

You MUST be a Camden Resident in order to apply. There is only one(1) scholarship awarded a year in the amount of $1000.
