Scholarships

Established by RU Camden Office of Military & Veterans Affairs (OMVA) Campus Director Fred Davis & fellow student veterans in memory of Joshua J. Piccoli, a 36 year old Marine Corps Veterans & 2nd year Rutgers Law School-Camden student. Josh served in Iraq & Afghanistan (a true warrior) but returned home as a most kind and loving human. Josh worked diligently at the OMVA for 6 years and was always in the ready to assist his fellow veterans.

Established by alumni and friends for Rutgers University–Camden students who are serving in or have honorably served in the Armed Forces, and in memory of Jeremy Kane, a criminal justice student who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.

One scholarship available each year. You MUST be actively involved in Vet-related activities on campus (14 hours per semester) as well as complete appropriate University requirements each year to demonstrate eligibility for financial aid.

You MUST be a Camden Resident in order to apply. There is only one(1) scholarship awarded a year in the amount of $1000

The student must be enrolled at Camden Campus, have completed at least 6 credits, and maintain a 2.8 GPA. They must currently serve, have served, or be reservists in any US Armed Forces branch or National Guard. Additionally, they must participate in veteran-related campus activities for 14 hours per semester and meet annual University financial aid requirements. This aid can be received multiple times (once per semester). First-semester students are not eligible.
