  • It is important to view ALL post 9/11 GI Bill information. Please visit www.gibill.va.gov    

  • Please contact Admissions Counselor Christian Cintron. His office is located at 406 Penn Street, Camden, NJ 08102. The Admissions Office can also be reached at 856-225-610.

     

    1. First you would confirm your admission through the enrollment pathway.  Then you will turn in your transcripts (both academic and military) for evaluation and transfer equivalency information. Once your transcript has been evaluated you will be contacted by Rutgers-Camden to sign up for a new student orientation and registration session.
    2. If you have no transcripts, you will be contacted regarding a placement test and then orientation and registration.
    3. Once you have completed course registration, please contact the Registrar’s Office for VA certification and additional resources.
  • Please view the GI Bill website or discuss this matter with your ESO or commanding officer at your base.

  • Any military personnel who commit to enrolling at Rutgers-Camden by paying the enrollment fee and are then deployed will have their enrollment fee waived when they return and are ready to start (i.e. they don’t have to pay the fee twice).

    • Yes, you should file for financial aid. For more information, please visit the Scarlet Hub online, or drop by the One Stop Student Services Center for in-person services.
    • OneStop is located on the 1st Floor of Armitage Hall. They are open Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. No appointments are necessary.
  • Rutgers–Camden has a variety of services and programs available for Student Veterans. Some examples include Early Registration Period, Student Veteran Lounge, Purple Heart parking spaces and much more. Please visit The Division of Student Affairs and Information for Current Students for additional services and programs.

  • ​​​​​​Rutgers–Camden has various medical, counseling, psychological, and psychiatric services & programs available for ALL students including Veterans. For more information and to be seen by a physician, please visit the Student Wellness Center on the 2nd Floor of the Campus Center. They can also be reached at 856-225-6005.

  • ​​​​​​The Career center has information on Veteran preference hiring for government and other local/regional employers. The Career Management specialists have important information and insight on how the unique abilities & qualities that Veterans possess can be helpful in a broad array of career fields. They are here to help you find your best fit!

  • ​​​​​​There are events held by the office every semester to meet and network with fellow Veterans.  We also have a Student Veterans of Rutgers–Camden group/club/organization that meets, creates, puts on events, that maintains a Veteran presence on campus.

  • ​​​​​This is entirely dependent on which education benefit you are utilizing. Please visit www.gibill.va.gov or discuss this matter with the Office of Military & Veterans Affairs.
