The Rutgers University–Camden Centennial Digital Archive chronicles a century of transformation, resilience, and innovation. From its origins as a local law school in the 1920s to its emergence as a nationally recognized research institution in the 2020s, the archive captures key milestones, cultural shifts, and community partnerships that shaped the campus and its impact on South Jersey and beyond. 1920s — Foundations of Access and Excellence

Camden’s civic leaders launched evening programs in law and liberal arts, creating pathways for working adults and establishing a culture of opportunity and rigor that would define the institution.
