Early in her career, Camie Morrison followed the traditional path for an accounting graduate, enjoying success as an accountant and consultant for multiple Big Four firms. While the work was challenging, she knew she wanted more in the long term. Now she is leveraging the expertise she gained in the corporate world to bolster the university's research enterprise.

Michelle D. Mason, JD, has been appointed interim dean at Florida International University College of Law. Mason graduated from the Law School in 1995 and received her bachelor's degree in English from Rutgers University–Newark in 1991. Originally from Jersey City, Mason said her Rutgers education prepared her professionally, but it also stirred in her a commitment to a career in education.
