Center for Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement is a collaborative team providing multifaceted opportunities and resources for students through programming, student organization support and student employment. We create an inclusive environment that cultivates leadership development, intercultural engagement and a sense of belonging. We engage students in transformative experiences that foster lifelong skills and meaningful connections.

Rutgers-Camden is home to a multitude of recognized student organizations and the Office of Student Involvement guides and supports those organizations and their student leaders.

The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs (OFSA) on the Rutgers University-Camden campus works to connect 13 Greek-lettered fraternities and sororities with the greater campus community.

The Campus Center is home to the IMPACT Booth where students, faculty, & staff receive their RUID, buy event tickets, and gather campus information. The Campus Center is also home to most events on campus, the Building Managers prep, manage, and breakdown your event setups!

Engagement

Some of the richest learning happens outside the classroom, whether it’s testing your knowledge in internships, broadening your perspective with study abroad, serving your community through volunteer service, extending your leadership skills with student organizations, expanding the bounds of knowledge through research, and more. Known as student engagement, experiential learning fuels your growth and prepares you for life after graduation.

Rutgers University in Camden offers a range of athletic and recreational opportunities for students, including NCAA Division III sports teams.

The Office of Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance provides support services and resources to survivors of interpersonal violence. Dedicated staff offer counseling, advocacy, and educational programs to promote awareness and prevent incidents of violence within the campus community.

The Office of Social Justice & Belonging at Rutgers University Camden fosters an inclusive campus environment through advocacy, education, and support initiatives. It promotes diversity, equity, and belonging among students, faculty, and staff through various programs and resources.

The Office of Housing & Residence Life oversees campus housing operations and provides support services to residential students. From managing housing assignments and facilities to offering programming and resources aimed at fostering a vibrant living-learning community, the office plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall student experience on campus.

The Office of International Students & Global Programs offers comprehensive support services tailored to the needs of international students. From immigration advising and cultural adjustment assistance to organizing global learning opportunities, the office facilitates cross-cultural exchange and enriches the academic experience for both domestic and international students.

The Student Wellness Center promotes holistic well-being through health education, counseling, and support services. It offers resources for physical and mental health, empowering students to thrive academically and personally.
