EOF First-Year Student Checklist

Step 1 — Confirm Admission

• Deadline: May 1, 2026
• Accept your Rutgers–Camden admission offer in your application portal. Space is limited — confirm ASAP!

Step 2 — Complete FAFSA

• File the 2026–2027 FAFSA.
• Include Rutgers University (Code: 002629) as a recipient school.

Step 3 — Create NJFAMS Account

• Register for a NJFAMS account to manage your state grant aid and check your “To Do List.”

Step 4 — Check Financial Aid Student Portal

• Log into your Rutgers portal regularly to submit any required documents for you or your parent/guardian.

Step 5 — Complete Placement Tests

• Math, English, and Foreign Language placement tests are required for all new students unless you have AP/college credit.

Step 6 — Submit Health and Immunization Forms

• Upload immunization records in the Rutgers immunization portal.
• Requires doctor’s signature and official immunization records. Start early!

• Fun, interactive event to introduce you to the campus community and provide important EOF next steps.

Step 8 — Attend Orientation

• Mandatory on-campus orientation for EOF students.
