About Us
Mission
The Rutgers University–Camden Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) advances the statewide mission of expanding access to higher education by providing first-generation and low-income students with the resources, support, and community they need to thrive.
At Rutgers–Camden, EOF is more than a pathway into college — it is a community that nurtures student success from the first day of Summer Institute through graduation. Our program pairs financial support with one-on-one counseling, academic coaching, and leadership development to ensure that students not only enter college, but also excel in their studies, pursue meaningful careers, and give back to their communities.
Rooted in the values of access, equity, and excellence, the EOF Program at Rutgers–Camden prepares students to meet the challenges of a changing world while developing into leaders on campus, in the Camden region, and across New Jersey
Vision
Our vision is to strengthen the pipeline from high school to higher education by creating partnerships across Camden and beyond, offering high-quality academic, personal, and leadership experiences that empower EOF students to persist to graduation. By combining financial support, intensive advising, and a close-knit community, EOF at Rutgers–Camden prepares graduates to thrive in graduate study, excel in the workforce, and contribute as engaged citizens and leaders in a global society.
