Rutgers University-Camden Community Partnership Centers
In 2023 Rutgers-Camden was the recipient of federal funding to support a partnership between Rutgers–Camden and the City of Camden and other community organizations to enhance programming and resources for Camden residents at the city's community centers. The community centers will focus on the areas of adult education and workforce development, arts and culture, health and wellness, youth and families, educational opportunities, and individual and family supports.
Current programs offered through these partnerships include:

Senior Health and Fitness Days: A collaboration between the City of Camden Senior Services and Emergency Assistance, the Office of the Mayor, Rutgers-Camden DICE, and the Rutgers-Camden School of Nursing, these special events offer a resource fair and health and fitness programming for the senior citizens of Camden.

Camden Content Creators: A 10-week program for teens in video and audio creation and production, offered free of charge at the North Camden Community Center through a partnership between the City of Camden Recreation, Rutgers-Camden DICE, and the Camden YMCA.

Outside/In Programming: Camden Recreation offers free programming for K-12 youth on days when school is out but City employees report to work. Rutgers-Camden DICE supplements these Outside/In days with fun and educational workshops.

Think College Early: An annual panel series offered to 9th and 10th graders in Camden, featuring panelists from different higher education, workforce, and trade fields, and more. Offered in collaboration with Camden Recreation, the Camden School District, and Rutgers-Camden DICE.

Teen Programming Advisory Group: A quarterly in-person meeting for providers of teen enrichment programs in Camden to network and share resources.

Parent-Youth Assistance (PYA) Program: Coming Fall 2024. This is a parental support referral network run by Youth Workers at North Camden Community Center, supported by the Camden School District and Rutgers-Camden DICE.
