Interfaith Relations

Race, Ethnicity & Intersectionality

As a Minority Serving Institution (MSI) and emerging Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), Rutgers University–Camden prioritizes "inclusive excellence" through a range of "Race & Ethnicity" initiatives that foster a welcoming campus environment.

LGBTQIA+

Rutgers University–Camden is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff. Through a variety of programs, resources, and events, the campus promotes allyship, celebrates LGBTQ+ diversity, and builds a welcoming community for all.

Rites of Passage Ceremony

The Rites of Passage Ceremony is a pre-commencement celebration to honor Black and Hispanic/Latino identified students who through resolute persistence have successfully completed an Undergraduate or Graduate degree at Rutgers University–Camden.

Multicultural Student Center

The Multicultural Student Center at Rutgers-Camden offers a variety of programs and initiatives to support students from diverse backgrounds, focusing on racial, ethnic, and intersectional issues. It collaborates with other campus resources to provide educational opportunities and workshops on race, allyship, and advocacy in order to foster a campus environment where diversity is celebrated, and students’ unique experiences are acknowledged and honored.
