AI Campus Leadership Presents at NJ AI Hub Statewide Summit

Representatives from Rutgers University-Camden AI Campus participated in the New Jersey AI Hub Statewide Summit, where the Dr. Tom Risch (Vice Chancellor for Research) and Ojobo Agbo Eje (Lead, AI Campus) shared insights on advancing AI literacy, workforce readiness, and community-centered innovation. The summit brought together leaders from academia, industry, government, and nonprofit organizations to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with artificial intelligence and its role in shaping New Jersey's future.
During their presentation, the AI Campus leadership team highlighted the initiative's unique approach to combining cohort-based learning, public engagement, applied projects, and workforce development. Inaugural AI Campus Cohort Celebrates Project Showcase

RUC AI Campus celebrated a significant milestone with the showcase of its inaugural cohort, marking the culmination of a ten-week learning and innovation experience. Cohort participants, supported by dedicated AI coaches, presented projects that demonstrated how artificial intelligence can be applied to address real-world challenges across diverse disciplines and professional contexts. The showcase highlighted the creativity, collaboration, and practical problem-solving skills developed throughout the program.

AI Campus Hosts Strategic Forum with Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey

Rutgers University-Camden's AI Campus convened a strategic forum with the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) and a group of regional business leaders to explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence on workforce development, organizational effectiveness, and economic competitiveness. The forum provided an opportunity for participants to engage in candid discussions about emerging AI trends, adoption challenges, and the skills organizations will need to thrive in an increasingly AI-enabled economy.
The meeting reinforced AI Campus's commitment to serving as a bridge between higher education, industry, and community stakeholders.
