Rutgers School of Business–Camden and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities have established a first-of-its-kind professional certificate program designed to prepare the next generation of utility ratemaking professionals while creating a direct workforce pipeline for electric, gas, water, and wastewater utilities in New Jersey and across the country.
As a first-generation college student, Tiffany Chan once viewed opportunities at the nation's leading research institutions as beyond her reach. This summer, however, the Rutgers University–Camden biology student will join 175 other undergraduate researchers from across the nation as a member of the inaugural Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Cech Fellows Program.
Rutgers University–Camden welcomed Dennis J. Shields as Interim Chancellor on July 1, 2026, bringing to the campus a distinguished leader whose four decades in higher education span law school administration, student affairs, admissions, and system‑level executive leadership.
