RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Applicants

How to Apply

Admission to the RN to BS in Nursing program is accepted for the spring or fall semesters and applicants are not required to write an essay for admission. Students who enroll receive (33) credits for passing the NCLEX and may transfer up to (60) additional credits for previously taken courses.

Application Process

1. Application Category

Most applicants fall into one of the following (2) application categories. Please begin by selecting an application category that best matches your background.

• I have never attended Rutgers University as a matriculated student.
  For first-year or transfer students applying to Rutgers University–Camden for the first time.
• I was enrolled in a Rutgers University undergraduate degree program.

2. Submit Transcripts

Submit copies of all of your official academic transcripts, including any prerequisite coursework in progress, to the Rutgers University–Camden Office of Admissions. We strongly urge you to submit your transcripts as soon as you have completed an application. Please mail your transcripts directly to:

Program Requirements

Students admitted to the RN to BS in Nursing program must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2.7 GPA.
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited university or college.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
