Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden Accelerated Bachelor of Science (ABS) in Nursing program offers a fast-track into the nursing profession for people who hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in a non-nursing major. Our intensive program allows students to complete their degree within 15 months.
Admissions Requirements
Students admitted to the ABS program must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelors degree in any field
- Successful completion of the following prerequisites:
- General Chemistry or Organic Biochemistry or General Chemistry II (4 credits with lab)
- Anatomy and Physiology I & II (8 credits with labs)
- Microbiology (4 credits with lab)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Human Growth and Development (3 credits)
- Nutrition (3 credits)
- Biomedical Ethics (3 credits)
**Effective Spring 2023, Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden requires that Anatomy & Physiology courses are completed within 5 years of enrollment in the program.**
