The Career Advancement Center provides a wide range of tools and resources to help you prepare for every step of your career journey. From crafting strong resumes and cover letters to mastering interview skills and navigating the job search process, these resources are designed to build your confidence and professionalism. With access to digital tools and platforms like Career Connect, you can explore opportunities, connect with employers, and take meaningful steps toward achieving your career goals.
The Career Advancement Center provides students with access to the latest versions and most often used assessments in Career Decision Making. Presently we offer Traitify for free to students as well as the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Personality on-line for a small fee.
Strong Interest Inventory
The Strong Interest Inventory helps guide academic and career decisions by assessing your interests in subjects, occupations, activities, people, and work environments. It compares your results with those of satisfied professionals in various fields. It also includes the “Making College Fit Your Interests” report, suggesting relevant courses, majors, and activities to explore. Contact the Career Advancement Center to access the assessment.
MBIT Assessment
The MBTI is a widely used personality assessment with over 50 years of reliability. It helps explain individual differences in how people think, communicate, and interact. The MBTI Career Report uses your results to suggest job families and occupations that align with your personality type. Contact the Career Center for access information.
Traitify
This assessment will help you better understand your personality characteristics and career related interests and to get suggestions on careers to start exploring.

Students taking the inventories on-line are required to make an appointment through Navigate with their Career Management Specialist to review their results.
