Rutgers–Camden’s Career Advancement Center offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to support students at every stage of their professional journey. From finding jobs and internships through platforms like RaptorLink to enrolling in internship courses that provide academic credit and real-world experience, students can seamlessly connect classroom learning with career goals. The center also helps students prepare strong resumes, sharpen their interviewing skills, and access curated job search links—ensuring they are fully equipped with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
Finding Jobs & Internships
Handshake
This is the Career Advancement Center’s Job/Internship Management System that provides access to jobs and internships, the Career Advancement Center’s Calendar of Events and more. Several thousand opportunities are posted annually. Handshake will recommend jobs/internships for you if you complete your profile. You can also make your profile visible to recruiters using the system so that they can find you. Handshake enables you to:
- Access personalized job & internship recommendations based on your major and interests
- Save your job search to get alerts when new jobs are posted that might interest you
- Follow your favorite employers to get alerts when they post positions, create an event, or register for a career fair.
- Register for events and seminars.
- Manage on-campus interviews with top companies.
- Schedule appointments with your career management specialist

Even though most employers and job postings are legitimate, there are fraudulent employers who may try to take advantage of naïve candidates.
