Passion
Kimberlee is passionate about outreach and science education and is a regular participant and speaker for the Philadelphia Science Festival. She often works in collaboration with the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and the Franklin Institute.
Research
Her archaeological research includes ancient fingerprints; artificial cranial deformation; the Whispering Woods site in Salem, NJ; and the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia, also known as “The Arch Street Project.”

Piccoli’s research interests include control and hybrid systems, social and crowd dynamics, vehicular traffic, network flows, social determinants of health, optimal control for biomedical and biomechanical systems, HIV infections, cancer immunotherapies, and biological rhythms.
Research
Piccoli Lab’s research includes projects which work to expand our understanding of topics spanning from circadian rhythms to COVID transmission to research into effectiveness of combinations of tuberculosis medication.

Passion
Julie has been active with minority students and faculty in the PhD Project Information Systems Doctoral Students Association Conference as a presenter and mentor for many years. In 2016, she was named to the PhD Project Hall of Fame for her 20 years of mentoring minority doctoral students on their research.
Research
Julie’s current research interests are in developing innovative qualitative tools for systems analysts, developing web presence and e-commerce for nonprofits including off-Broadway theatres, corporate participation in open source software development, and the use of metaphors for IS research and systems development.
