OSDFA supports students in identifying high-impact, funded, external opportunities that help individuals explore and achieve their goals. Since 2017, our students and alumni have been named Truman Scholar, Benjamin Gilman Scholar, DAAD Scholar, Humanity in Action Fellow, Boren Fellow, and Fulbright Scholar, among others. If we can stress one message, it is DO NOT discount yourself! Whether you are a new first-year or transfer, a continuing student or alumni of the university, there are awards for applicants with various backgrounds & experiences – let us help you find your fit!

Priority Awards
OSDFA has identified a set of “Priority Awards” that best align with our campus’ mission, our students/alumni strengths, and that have the greatest potential to elevate our applicants in achieving their goals. This list is not exhaustive but is an excellent place to begin your search. We have categorized these awards into 5 “buckets”: International/Language, STEM/Research, Public Service/Policy, Graduate School, and Professional.
