NJ History Day

Rutgers-Camden is excited to host one of the regional competitions for New Jersey History Day.  Each year, National History Day chooses a historical theme that provides a framework for students’ research. The 2023-2024 theme is Turning Points in History.  The purposefully broad theme encourages investigation into local, national, or world history from any period of time. Conducting historical research through the focused lens provided by the annual theme allows students to develop perspective, make connections over time, and place their topics into historical context by considering the time and circumstances associated with their topics.

Rutgers University-Camden will be hosting one of the three regional competitions on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The regional coordinator is Professor Kate Epstein of the History Department at Rutgers-Camden.
