You Are Invited to Fall Convocation

To the Rutgers University in Camden Community: 

With the start of a new school year soon to be upon us, it is my pleasure to invite you to the second annual Rutgers University in Camden Fall Convocation ceremony and celebration at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Walter K. Gordon Theater. This exciting and meaningful tradition is a special way to welcome new and returning students, as well as faculty and staff, to another academic year. 
 
Whether you are a new student just starting out on your educational journey, or one that is looking to finish your final semesters before graduation, the opportunity to elevate through learning, research, collaboration, and robust dialogue should be celebrated and honored. As we look to the future with optimism and determination, let’s take some time to come together and recognize that special Scarlet Raptor spirit that makes Rutgers–Camden so unique.
 
Please plan to join us for the Fall Convocation ceremony and fun, celebratory events to follow, including a free culinary road trip on the Campus Quad. Please note that seating in the Walter K. Gordon Theater will be prioritized for students; availability for faculty and staff will be limited. A livestream of the event with overflow seating will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Campus Center.
