Dear Rutgers University in Camden Staff:

I am pleased to inform you that applications are once again open for the Chancellor’s Grant for Staff Development. This “15 in 5” strategic initiative offers funding for full-time professional staff members to take advantage of a wide range of professional development opportunities external to Rutgers University. Awards are allocated in flexible amounts and can cover expenses associated with registration, travel, lodging, and more. Priority is given to applicants seeking to attend academic and professional conferences that offer training and experience consistent with their job responsibilities, department goals, and career development aspirations.  
 
I encourage you to seek out relevant opportunities and apply for funding regardless of your role or the length of your Rutgers–Camden career so far. Transformative experiences often come to us when we venture beyond the comfort of our desks and explore what we can learn in new environments. The Chancellor’s Grant for Staff Development can empower you to seize the best opportunities available in your field.
