Program Overview

The RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program at Rutgers University–Camden is designed for licensed registered nurses (RNs) who want to advance their careers by earning a bachelor’s degree. This hybrid program works with local academic partner institutions to offer area residents access to the State of New Jersey's 3 + 1 program, which enables students to complete three years of coursework at a community college and one year at a university to earn a bachelor's degree. This 'RN to BS Express in Nursing' program is available at:

  • Atlantic Cape Community College
  • Mercer County Community College

Students receive credit for passing the NCLEX and may transfer up to 60 additional credits. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
