Learning From Cooper Street

Learning From Cooper Street is a Rutgers–Camden project that explores the history of Camden’s Cooper Street neighborhood, documenting how the area developed and changed over time through research on its residents, buildings, and communities. The project also helps students gain experience in urban history and historic preservation while preserving Camden’s local heritage.

Digital Camden Archive is a Rutgers–Camden digital history project that preserves and shares archival materials, photographs, and artifacts related to Rutgers–Camden and the surrounding community. Through searchable collections, digital exhibits, and student-created projects, the archive helps make local and university history accessible while showcasing the region’s cultural and historical heritage.
