Happy Holidays

Greetings Rutgers–Camden Community:
 
The holidays are a time in which we celebrate the ideal of peace on Earth; this year, that hope for peace weighs heavily on my mind. All of us are affected on some level by the unrest and violence that have taken hold in various areas around the globe. 
 
As you observe the holidays this year, I urge you to spread a little compassion, empathy, grace, and love, as many have personally experienced the deep impacts of global conflicts and loss of lives. 
 
Throughout my time at our university, I have seen our beloved Camden community come together in support of one another time and time again. I know we will use our cooperative and inclusive spirit as a force for healing, understanding, and growth. So many of us study and work at Rutgers–Camden because we want to change the world. That change starts right here in our academic home, and together, we can strive toward a peace that stretches across our campus and beyond. 
 
So, during this season, I wish you and your loved ones peace and joy.
