Program Overview

The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Rutgers–Camden is a 39-credit terminal degree that offers students the opportunity to develop their craft in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. The program emphasizes a multi-genre approach, encouraging students to explore beyond their primary discipline. With small, intensive workshops and craft seminars, students receive personalized mentorship from award-winning faculty and visiting writers.
