Vaughn A. Calhoun, Ed.D

A proud alumnus of Rutgers University–New Brunswick and a former student-athlete on the Scarlet Knights football team, Vaughn Calhoun brings a deep personal connection to Rutgers and a distinguished track record of leadership in student affairs and academic services across a range of higher education settings. His insights on student affairs in higher education have been featured in publications such as Fortune (Education Edition), The Chronicle of Higher Education, and Inside Higher Ed.
Nationally, Calhoun is a dedicated member of NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, where he has held key leadership positions, including chair of the Public Policy Blog Committee and Region II chair of the Black Diaspora Knowledge Community.
Calhoun resides in South Jersey with his wife, a professor of psychology, and their young son. He holds a bachelor of science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, an M.P.A. from California State University–Long Beach, and a doctorate of education from Northeastern University.
