Cello Prodigy Ifetayo Ali-Landing to Perform at Rutgers University–Camden

Festival Mahogany runs February 28 through March 2. All performances are FREE and open to the public.

Camden, NJ – February 18, 2025: Rutgers University–Camden is pleased to announce that Ifetayo Ali-Landing, a rising star and virtuoso cellist, will perform with Maestro Marlon Daniel and Symphony in C on Friday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater.

Just 22 years old, Ali-Landing has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the Pittsburgh Symphony, among others. She has also been featured on NPR’s From The Top, where she collaborated with Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix, and on the popular Tiny Desk concert series.

The performance is part of Festival Mahogany, a weekend-long celebration of classical music. focused on world-renowned performers of color.
