Rutgers University–Camden to Launch Year of the Arts in 2025
Events include local talent and global artists and musicians
Camden, NJ – December 10, 2024: Rutgers University–Camden is pleased to announce the launch of Year of the Arts in 2025. This yearlong showcase will elevate creative expression on campus and throughout South Jersey, providing a platform for homegrown talent and bringing internationally known artists to the region.
“Rutgers–Camden plays a critical role as an anchor institution in the city of Camden,” said Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis. "This celebration will shine a light on the dynamic culture that enriches our campus while demonstrating the transformative power of the arts."
From local Rutgers–Camden talent to renowned global artists, the celebration will highlight the depth and breadth of those who practice their craft in Camden or speak to the diverse, multicultural tastes of the city while illustrating the incredible unifying power of music, theatre, visual art, and literature.
