Mary Philbrook Public Interest Award

The Mary Philbrook Public Interest Award is given each fall at a gala celebration in Camden, in recognition of Mary Philbrook, the first woman admitted to the New Jersey Bar. 

Fondly known as "Philbrook", this Rutgers tradition, since 1986, is generously sponsored by the Rutgers Law–Camden Alumni Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, and the Camden County Bar Association.

The 41st Annual Mary Philbrook Public Interest Award Celebration honoring Vincent Warren is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026.
