Chancellor’s Mayoral Internship Program Launch
Please join Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen and I on Thursday, May 30 at 11 a.m. as we gather at the steps of Camden City Hall to celebrate the launch of the Third Annual Chancellor’s Mayoral Internship Program. Since 2022, this collaboration between Rutgers University and the City of Camden has offered select Rutgers–Camden students of all levels and disciplines the chance to work alongside Mayor Carstarphen and other city leaders in their areas of interest.
Since 2022, program participants have spent transformative summers learning about the inner workings of government and serving the needs of Camden residents. I am delighted that Dolly Marshall, a 2022 participant who is now a full-time City of Camden employee, will be on hand to congratulate the new interns and share how her experience shaped her current path.
I look forward to seeing you on May 30 as we welcome the 2024 Chancellor’s Mayoral Internship class to their new roles:
Tim Pan and Joshua Stapleton
Law Department – Legal Assistance and Support
Tayla Ball
Municipal Clerk, City Council, Records & Archives
Gabriela Gutierrez
Mayor’s Office - Community Outreach/ Special Projects
Alexander Ray

Sincerely,
Antonio D. Tillis, Ph.D.
