Chancellor’s Lecture Series

Heather McGhee is the keynote speaker for the 2025 Chancellor’s Lecture Series. Heather McGhee, New York Times bestselling author and policy advocate, will speak about her award-winning book The Sum of Us. McGhee will take us on a journey across the country, exploring with compassion, intelligence, and care what we lose as a result of the zero-sum paradigm—the idea that progress for some must come at the expense of others. McGhee argues that what would actually improve our lives—from our infrastructure to our education system and democracy itself—would be to come together across divides.

Register now to reserve your seat. There will be a Q&A opportunity, and a reception will follow the address. Light refreshments will be served.

The lecture is free, but advanced registration is required.
