Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Program Overview
Rutgers University–Camden’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABS) program offers a fast-track pathway into the nursing profession for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in a non-nursing field. This intensive 15-month program provides the same rigorous clinical and academic training as the traditional BSN, preparing students to become licensed registered nurses.
Students complete four consecutive semesters—including summer—and participate in predetermined class and clinical schedules. Clinical experiences are assigned by the School of Nursing–Camden and may occur any day of the week, including weekends and evenings.
