Nurses care for a patient in a hospital.

New research supported by the Hillary Project found that while nursing graduates feel clinically prepared for practice, many say future nurses need more help navigating the profession's emotional challenges. In response to this research, Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden and the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs are collaborating to examine how nursing education can play a greater role in supporting long-term well-being.

Rutgers University–Camden is proud to announce the 2026 cohort of the Chancellor’s Mayoral Internship Program. This year’s cohort—the largest in the program’s history—includes six students from across the university's undergraduate, graduate, law, and dual-degree programs who will spend the summer working alongside city leaders, exploring careers in public service, and strengthening their connection to the Camden community.

Bob Fishman, a New Jersey native and celebrated scholar who taught at Rutgers–Camden for more than a quarter of a century after finishing his doctorate at Harvard University, has made a series of generous gifts to support students where he was once inspired as a young professor.
