Rutgers School of Business–Camden and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities have established a first-of-its-kind professional certificate program designed to prepare the next generation of utility ratemaking professionals while creating a direct workforce pipeline for electric, gas, water, and wastewater utilities in New Jersey and across the country.

One year after pursuing graduate studies at Cardiff University on a Fulbright scholarship, Rutgers–Camden alumna Sophia Westfall is preparing for another milestone. The 2025 graduate has earned admission to the University of Cambridge, where she will pursue a doctorate in English. Throughout her journey, Westfall, Rutgers–Camden’s first UK Fulbright recipient, has served as a cultural ambassador for the United States while expanding on the research in environmental humanities she developed as an undergraduate.

New research supported by the Hillary Project found that while nursing graduates feel clinically prepared for practice, many say future nurses need more help navigating the profession's emotional challenges. In response to this research, Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden and the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs are collaborating to examine how nursing education can play a greater role in supporting long-term well-being.
