Cara White
Cara White is the Director of Campus Activities at Rutgers University–Camden, where she is responsible for cultivating an energetic, inclusive, and engaging environment where students feel connected, inspired, and proud to be Raptors! In this role, she oversees student leadership development and student organization support, including recognition, training, and compliance for all Registered Student groups and Fraternity and Sorority Chapters.
Cara is committed to creating meaningful, engaging experiences that help students build community, clarify their values, and grow as leaders. Prior to joining the Camden campus, Cara served as Director for Campus Programs at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where she led large-scale, campus-wide initiatives including Welcome Week, Homecoming, and Senior Days. She has also held roles in student center operations, large-scale event planning, and student leader development at West Chester University and the University of Delaware, respectively.
She earned her master’s degree in Higher Education from Old Dominion University, and her bachelor's degree in Communication from Augusta University. With about 15 years of experience in Student Unions and Activities, Cara brings a relationship-centered and purpose-driven approach to her work. She is passionate about mentoring students, supporting their leadership journeys, and fostering environments where students feel connected, empowered, and valued. Outside of work, Cara enjoys tackling jigsaw puzzles, curating music playlists, and spending time with her little ones.
