Rutgers Takes the Garden State: Day on the Battleship New Jersey

Step into history with as you explore the longest, fastest, and most decorated U.S. battleship ever built!

Your discounted admission ticket to the museum includes:

• Access to explore the museum’s immersive exhibits and engaging experiences for the day (10 AM – 5 PM).
• Tours of the Engine Room and Turret, exclusively for Rutgers alumni and friends aboard the ship. Tours depart every half hour, and tour space is limited! Registration for the tours will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that these tours will descend seven stories into the ship and require climbing and descending steep steps, as well as stepping over “knee knockers” or high step openings along the tour. These tours may be difficult/impossible to access for those with mobility issues.
• A chance to see a 40mm Saluting Gun fired off the side of the ship (specific times for firings will be shared closer to the event).
• The opportunity to gather with other Rutgers alumni, friends, and families in a Mess Galley for snacks and short remarks honoring the alumni veterans in attendance.
